Priscilla & Gavin’s Chic Autumn Wedding at Knowlton Mansion

From First Sparks to “I Do”

Priscilla and Gavin’s love story is full of serendipity, laughter, and little moments that brought them together. They first crossed paths years prior, but it wasn’t until 2022 at a friend’s playful “Chicken Chase” that sparks truly flew. After a few awkward texts, a gentle nudge from family, and a first date at La Chinesca, their connection grew quickly — leading to moving in together, buying their first home in Fairmount, and a heartfelt proposal right outside their front steps. We had the joy of capturing their engagement photos last year, and it was such a treat to continue their story on their wedding day.

The Morning Of

On October 3rd, 2025, Priscilla’s wedding morning at Knowlton Mansion was filled with laughter, excitement, and meaningful details that told her story. Every element — from her carefully chosen accessories to the heartfelt gifts shared with loved ones — reflected her thoughtful, sentimental nature.

The details set the tone: a veil lovingly borrowed from her sister-in-law (and bridesmaid), “something blue” sneakers with baby-blue soles reading Just Married, and matching rings engraved with the family name that she and her sister both wore. Vibrant florals filled the space — a lush bridal bouquet, sunny sunflowers for each bridesmaid, and delicate corsages for the moms and grandmoms.

Adding a handmade touch, Priscilla’s mother created matching hand-crocheted purses for the bridesmaids, a sweet keepsake that perfectly complemented the group’s cozy sweats and sneakers for the morning. Between hair and makeup touch-ups, everyone shared plenty of laughs and cheers before Priscilla stepped into her gown.

She shared emotional first looks with her dad and bridesmaids, moments full of joy and happy tears that set the tone for the celebration ahead.

Over in the groom’s suite, the atmosphere was filled with laughter, anticipation, and meaningful details. Gavin and his groomsmen spent the morning getting ready together, buttoning jackets, sharing jokes, and taking in the excitement of the day ahead.

Every detail carried intention. His pocket square served as his something blue, and his watch, once belonging to his father, was a treasured something borrowed he wore with pride. Each groomsman wore a unique brooch, while Gavin and the fathers shared matching ones as a subtle nod to family and connection.

Before heading out, Gavin gifted his groomsmen monogrammed toiletry bags, a thoughtful gesture to thank them for standing by his side. Matching Nikes brought a playful touch to the look, worn by the groomsmen, dads, and officiant alike.

A heartfelt first look with his mom rounded out the morning, a quiet, emotional moment before he got to see his bride.

First Look & Private Vows

Before the celebrations officially began, Priscilla and Gavin shared an intimate first look — a quiet, emotional moment just for the two of them. They exchanged personal vows, soaking in the excitement and emotion of the day ahead. During this time, Priscilla also gifted Gavin a blue pocket square, hoping he’d wear it for their ceremony — a small but meaningful touch that tied into her “something blue.”

Wedding Party Portraits

Before the ceremony began, Priscilla and Gavin shared fun and heartfelt moments with their wedding party around the grounds of Knowlton Mansion. The elegant architecture and warm autumn tones made the perfect backdrop for portraits that beautifully captured the laughter, energy, and anticipation leading up to their “I do.”

The Ceremony

The outdoor garden ceremony was magical, filled with laughter, tears, and heartfelt moments. Guests watched as Priscilla and Gavin said “I do,” surrounded by flowers honoring loved ones no longer with them. Their pups, Milo and Kaia, walked down the aisle as ring bearer and flower girl, bringing smiles and joy to everyone present. Guests joined in blowing bubbles, making for whimsical and memorable photos. The officiant, Priscilla’s uncle, led the ceremony, and every detail — from the seating to the flow — was thoughtfully designed to capture the couple’s personality and love.

Post-Ceremony & Cocktail Hour

As guests transitioned from the ceremony to cocktail hour, a quick photo receiving line gave everyone the chance to congratulate the newlyweds and share in the excitement. Guests mingled and enjoyed the lively atmosphere while we captured detail shots of the décor, cocktails, and candid moments unfolding around the space. It was the perfect blend of celebration and connection before the party truly began.

Reception & Celebration

Their indoor reception was lively and full of personality, perfectly balancing playful, heartfelt, and meaningful details. His-and-hers drinks, named after their pups Milo and Kaia, were displayed in vases at each bar, adding a whimsical, personal touch.

Memorial photos honored loved ones, while a mosaic sunflower sign and cake cloth décor crafted by the bride’s aunt brought warmth and creativity to the space. Their Carvel ice cream cake featured adorable dog toppers, and a hand-painted piece of venue décor welcomed guests at the entryway mirror. Guests also contributed to a canvas guest book, leaving colorful, personal marks to commemorate the day.

Music and dancing carried the night, from a live mother-and-daughter performance to the parent dances that brought both laughter and emotion. The lyrics from the first and parent dances were displayed on the cards and gifts table in both Spanish and English, adding a meaningful and personal touch. Heartfelt speeches and toasts from family and friends wrapped the evening in love and joy, perfectly reflecting Priscilla and Gavin’s personalities.

Thank you for a wonderful wedding!
