A Joyful Spring Wedding for Lyndsey & Kevin

When Lyndsey and Kevin first met in February 2020, they were just two strangers joining a Jersey Shore house with friends. But fate had other plans. By the end of that summer, what started as friendship had blossomed into love, and their wedding day was a beautiful celebration of it all.

The Search for the Perfect Venue

Choosing a venue was no easy task for Lyndsey and Kevin. They toured nearly 25 locations, searching for a place that truly felt like them. Brandywine Manor House was the very last venue they visited, and it instantly clicked. With its rustic charm, peaceful gardens, and inviting atmosphere, it was the perfect setting to celebrate their love and start their next chapter.

Getting Ready

The morning of the wedding was filled with quiet excitement. Lyndsey’s gown was carefully hung in the bridal suite, tucked away from the eyes of bridesmaids and the groom. A charm on her bouquet honored her late father, while rings gifted to her mother and sisters added heartfelt meaning to the day. Her stepdad, Vince, lovingly stepped into the father role, sharing a touching first look with Lyndsey and standing proudly by her side throughout the celebration.

Just nearby, Kevin and his groomsmen got ready together as they buttoned their suits, adjusted ties, and soaked in the calm before the ceremony began.

A First Look to Remember

Just beyond the barn, Lyndsey and Kevin shared a private first look. Their family and bridal party watched from the barn’s interior, giving the couple a peaceful moment together before the ceremony. It was a quiet, intimate way to ground themselves before the excitement of the day unfolded.

A Meaningful Ceremony

Set in the garden and framed by springtime blooms, Lyndsey and Kevin’s outdoor ceremony was heartfelt and deeply personal. Lyndsey’s brother served as the officiant, and loved ones from both families offered meaningful readings that added warmth to the moment. As part of their vows, the couple literally tied a knot in a symbolic gesture of unity that reflected their thoughtful approach to the day. Every element of the ceremony was intentional, weaving together family, tradition, and love.

A Charming Cocktail Hour

Cocktail hour unfolded across several charming spots at the venue — the barn, under the barn, and the garden terrace. Guests enjoyed live acoustic music from the gazebo, sipped on signature drinks served with custom napkins, and delighted in playful details like candy cigarettes, a favorite of the groom.

A vintage flower cart welcomed guests with refreshing beverages, nestled beside a flag hand-painted by Lyndsey herself. On the terrace, a thoughtfully designed seating chart complemented the wedding’s style, while a large photo frame showcased memories from Lyndsey’s bridal shower. Inside the barn, guests found cozy seating areas, charcuterie boards, and a guest book bench inviting them to relax and mingle.

A Reception Filled with Personal Touches

Inside the tented reception, every detail reflected the couple’s personality. Lyndsey crafted all the pastel-toned centerpieces herself, and the space glowed warmly with string lights and meaningful décor. A memorial table sat near the bar, along with the guest book bench moved in from cocktail hour, keeping family memories close.

One of the night’s highlights came when tambourines were handed out just as the DJ played “Dancing Queen,” getting everyone on their feet. Instead of a traditional bouquet toss, Lyndsey dedicated her flowers to her mother during their thank-you speech, creating a touching moment that perfectly captured the spirit of their day.

Capturing Moments That Matter

Lyndsey was intentional about making sure every meaningful moment was captured. From solo portraits and one-on-one shots with parents to real, unscripted family interactions, every image was taken with care, telling the full story from the bridal suite to golden hour and beyond.

A Day to Remember

Lyndsey and Kevin’s wedding was filled with love, family, and the sweetest personal details. From their first look to their last dance, every moment was a reflection of their story and the joy they share. We feel so grateful to have captured it all through photo and video, so they can hold onto these memories and relive the magic of their day for years to come.
